Logline

The losers in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict lost their paradise, their loved ones and are trying to escape hell.

 

Synopsis

During the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, Abgar stays behind in a shrinking enemy ring. He is looking for his daughter Yurga who witnessed her husband’s murder and is hospitalised with a traumatic disorder. Ibrahim, a Muslim Azerbaijani, promises to free her if Abgar, a Christian, will help as a stonemason, in the construction of a mosque.

Father and daughter live quietly like among ghosts. The situation is gradually deteriorating, food runs out, the hope of seeing family recedes and enemy danger is suddenly on the rise. Abgar watches his corner of his paradise gradually turn into a hell, from where the only way out is escape.
