Duration: 8x30 or 1x30
Shooting Gauge: DigiBeta
Year of Production: 2010

BEHIND CLOSED DOORS is a 8x30 lifestyle program that takes a no holds barred look at the lives of the disabled. This show covers new ground as the sex lives of disabled people has rarely been explored by the mainstream media and this series gives an informative, revealing and often controversial insight into this world. The show goes inside a brothel, a strip club, even a BDSM dungeon as we uncover the facts surrounding how the disabled are accommodated by the sex industry.
.
In addition to the focus on the sex industry, the series also explores other areas of disabilities including depression, epilepsy and raises the issue of euthanasia and abortion in relation to birth defects. We interview disabled gay people, take an in depth look at transsexuals we even look at self defense for the disabled..
The show's creator and host is the effervescent Bobby Bajram, who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 13. Despite his ongoing battles with pain and the loss of some of his vision and mobility, Bobby, now 42, refused to let it rule his life. He has helped to improve the lives of thousands of people with disabilities to be accepted into mainstream society. .
BEHIND CLOSED DOORS demonstrates Bobby's belief that having a disability should not be an obstacle in living a full life. This series explores the issues people don't want to talk about and is about breaking the stigma and giving us a voice. Too often we've been pushed in a corner. I truly believe we can do whatever we put our minds to. Just because you're disabled shouldn't determine the course of your life. "If you stay positive and believe in yourself you can do anything."
