Hero of the Times

A blockbuster biopic immortalizing the Chinese folk hero, Fang Shi Yu. Renowned martial arts actor Chiu Mun Cheok plays the title character who is constantly kept out of trouble by his comical mother, played by Taiwanese queen of tearjerkers, Liu Xue Hua. It also stars TCS actor Vincent Ng as Fang's gongfu buddy and TCS rising stars Yvonne Lim and May Phua as Fang's lovers. Legend has it that there are two formidable and unsurpassable kungfu skills in the world ¨The Palm of Rulai' and the 'Heavenly Foot'. Mastering these two powerful skills makes one invincible. Over the years, the skills are almost forgotten. But now, they resurface in the pugilist world and threaten to wreck havoc as power-hungry pugilists seek to master the skills and to conquer the pugilist world.

A young lad of humble origin named Duanfei (Played by Julian Cheng), is chased out of from his workplace Dragon Inn escort agency when he tries to save an old man. As a result, Duanfei's dream of marrying his junior Mingluan is dashed. Duanfei decides to seek refuge together with the lonely old man he saved ¨C Fire-Cloud Evil God, who later imparts him with 'The Palm of Rulai' At the same time, Duanfei gets to know Xuehua (Played by Zhu Yin) who is also facing disappointments in life. Xuehua falls for Duanfei eventually.

The pugilist catastrophe warrants the need for a new leader urgently to eliminate Fire Cloud Evil God. The pugilist elders hope to elect the young and promising Ou Jinghao as the new leader, and hope that the decision is unanimous. However, Ying Zhongyuan unveils his 'Heavenly Foot' to the pugilist world and gains status as the new leader. Duanfei is implicated and is branded the culprit.

Duanfei saves Chu Jin, Biyun and the leaders of the seven big sects. Angered, Jian Hun attacks Duanfei who almost loses his life when he doesn't fight back. Luckily for Duanfei, Xuehua takes the fatal blow for him. Before Xuehua dies, her mother reveals that Xuehua is actually her illegitimate child whom she had with Jian Hun. Alas, the revelation comes too late.

Jian Hun is remorseful of his past evil deeds and retires from the pugilist world. Duanfei disappears as well with the Xuehua's corpse. Following the disappearance of Jian Hun and Duanfei, the skills are lost. No one else knows the skills and they remain only as memories.


The Return of the Condor Heroes

During the reign of the Sung Dynasty, Guo Jing and his wife Huang Rong met and adopted an orphaned child Yang Guo who is the son of his former acqauintance, and brought him back to Peach Blossoms Island. Yang Guo turned out to be an obstinate and mischevious child. Guo Jing sent him to the Quan Zhen schoool of martial arts. Fated, he then became the disciple of Xiao Long Nu. Some years earlier, Yang Guo became a dashing young man. Xiao Long Nu, flattered by Yang Guo's attention to her, slowly fell in love with him. One night, the Quan Zhen exponent Yin Zhi Ping seized the opportunity to rape Xiao Long Nu. Xiao Long Nu mistook Yang Guo for the perpetrator of the amorous act and thought he was not sincere towards her. In shame and anger, Xiao Long Nu left him.
