Countdown

Duration: 263 x 60’

Each episode starts, develops and ends in one hour. The stories take place in real time when different characters face turning points in their lives. Once the 60 minutes are up nobody and nothing will remain as it once was.

“Countdown” is a one-way trip that mixes mystery, action and sensuousness, with high voltage drama. Unexpected turns surprise the spectator at the very end. They are stories about seemingly normal people who are exposed to situations out of the ordinary.

Countdown was shot in HD with a cinematographic approach. The series was directed by three talented directors: Juan Felipe Orozco, Ricardo Gabrielli and Felipe Martinez.

Tangled in the Net

Duration: 13 x 60’
Year: 2005
Producers: Capitulos Dos Producciones

Human beings are supposed to communicate with each other through their senses: hearing, smelling, looking, tasting, touching… but when it comes to the Internet, none of them is involved... Is Internet the sixth sense??

In a world where technology could save us… it actually exhausts us. In a world where people tend to speak less and less, the Net appears as a heroic savior and… we talk to each other using the keys in the keyboard as our vocal cords. In a world where the Web has become God, we look like flies trapped in this impressive spider web.”

“Tangled in the Net” is a series of independent but related episodes in which the Internet is the main protagonist and an excellent excuse to tackle the problems we are presently having in our society: the difficulty in communicating with each other in the era of technological communication, the lack of stability in human relationships and the fear to any type of compromise.

Written as a dramatic comedy, the idea is to laugh at ourselves, through problems that all can relate to such as infidelity, murder, lies, sex, fraud… Any story that has a beginning, a conflict, and an outcome, whether it involves a phone cable, a keyboard or just a cell phone screen, will be part of this series.

We are all in touch with the world, we are all connected through the Web, and any of us can be involved in any of these stories every time we decide or need to turn to the Web to have fun, to fall in love, or, simply, to kill time.
