Growing up among China’s elite, Sirin Phathanothai together with her brother were sent to be reared in China when she was only eight. They were under care of the Great Premier Zhou En Lai as wards securing secretive relationship between Thailand and China during the Pibulsongkram regime.  After the political crackdown in the homeland, toppled with the violation of the Cultural Revolution, Sirin’s fate was tossed back and forth in the sky like the Dragon’s Pearl.

Her life is a page in the history of both countries known by very few people.  It is now made alive as television series that must be seen to appreciate.
