This film follows the fascinating lives of wolves in the wild through all seasons.
A year in the life of a wolf is separated into several important periods. Mating occurs at the end of the winter and pups are born in the spring. The entire pack takes a part in raising the young and then, in summer, the pups start hunting with the others.
Filmed in the Russian Central Forest Reserve for more then 4 years, this exceptional documentary uncovers how these amazing animals survive and the incredible communities they create. Viewers learn why wolves choose to live in packs, how they share the care and feeding of their young, and how they defend their territory.
