Diego owns a clothing shop and is embezzled by his fiancée. Frustrated and heartbroken, he needs a break and returns to live with his parents. Diego falls in love with Julia, who is about to get married to Mauricio, a successful businessman.

Diego has a close friendship with Martina, who believes Mauricio was responsible for the death of her toddler. Diego finds out about her plans and, to prevent her from committing a crime, ends up saving Mauricio’s life. Mauricio is so grateful for Diego’s help that he entices him to work for him.

Initially, Diego is naive towards Mauricio’s business but when he becomes aware that it is illegal, he realises that it will be impossible to leave alive. When one day Diego is invited to Mauricio house he finds that Julia is his boss's wife. Now he won’t dare to leave Julia alone in the midst of ah unseen danger.
