Bao Wenwei (Rui En), an advertising executive, is the only daughter in a family of military men. Bao Pengju (Huang Wenyong), after losing his wife, runs the family like a military camp. Unfortunately, this makes Wenwei resentful towards the military forces.

Bao Wenjing (Tay Pinghui) is an officer in the Special Operations Force and Pengju's pride and joy. Although intelligent and skilled at his work, Wenjing is extremely shy in front of women. Bao Wenzhong (Bryan Wong) is a computer engineer and an active National Serviceman. His sense of humor and easy-going nature makes him popular with women, but he has his own high ideals of love. Bao Wenguo (Nat Ho) awaits enlistment into National Service but resents it because of the pressure from his father.
